Are you looking to deepen your understanding of the Qur’an while memorizing its beautiful verses? We invite all women over 18 to join our enriching Muddakir Program!
In this unique program, you’ll engage in thematic interpretations of the Qur’an, making connections between the verses while learning the reasons for revelation. Our interactive lessons will not only enhance your memorization skills but also foster a deeper appreciation for the teachings of Islam.

Program Description
The Muddakir Program focuses on memorization with thematic interpretations of Qur’anic verses. It emphasizes creating connections between the topics of each Surah, studying reasons for revelation, and providing simplified interpretations.
- Leadership: The program has completed its ninth year under the guidance of Ms. Hoda Yassin Ghadhban.
- Location: It began in Maryland at the Diyanet Mosque and has since expanded to several branches across various states, including online teaching.
Memorization Levels
- Beginner Level: Surat Al-Fath and Juz Amma
- Intermediate Level: Surat Az-Zukhruf, Al-Fath, and Juz’ Amma
- Complete Memorization Level: Juz’ Ash-Shura, Al-Ahqaf, and Juz’ Amma
Lesson Schedule and Method
- Format: Interactive lessons featuring recitation, discussion, and verse interpretation.
- Duration: Each lesson lasts 2 to 3 hours.
- Schedule: Every Saturday, 10 AM – 1 PM
Follow-up sessions: Three times a week
